Thanks, Dave.

I've seen my share of cross platform development tools over the years, particularly ones that make one code base support both Mac and Windows. I've never seen one complete enough to make me switch. Good luck! Admittedly I never tried Java.

I actually was duped into becoming a Mac programmer. Borland released their Turbo Pascal for Mac, the fastest Mac compiler ever. I thought it would be an easy port for my DOS apps in Turbo Pascal. :)

After a few years of MacHack conferences, Apple abandoned pascal, and I abandoned Apple. I used CodeWarrior (C++ with the PowerPlant framework) for a very short while. Haven't written for Mac in years.

Porting to Mac would be a pleasure, once the Windows version is done!
